Years 7 & 8

Years 7 and 8 is a pivotal stage in our students' educational journey.

As students transition into their early adolescence, our focus is on providing a nurturing and dynamic learning environment that fosters academic growth, personal development, and a sense of community. The curriculum for Years 7 and 8 is designed to ignite curiosity, build foundational skills, and cultivate a love for learning. Our experienced educators guide students through a diverse range of subjects, encouraging critical thinking and exploration.

Beyond the classroom, students have opportunities to engage in extracurricular activities, developing their interests and talents. This serves as a gateway to understanding the unique educational experience offered during these formative years at Tamborine Mountain College. Here we lay the groundwork for a successful and fulfilling academic journey, preparing students for the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead.

For Junior Secondary Years 7 and 8, the College has a core curriculum of English, Maths, History and the Social Sciences, Science, Art, French, Drama, Technologies and Physical Education that provides a holistic grounding for Senior Secondary Education.
