Years 11 & 12

Our dedicated focus on Years 11 and 12 reflects our commitment to providing a supportive and stimulating environment for students during this pivotal stage.

Students pursue their own personal pathway, guided by experienced educators who are passionate about cultivating critical thinking, resilience, and a love for learning.

We offer a curriculum tailored to meet the diverse interests and aspirations of our Senior students. Beyond academics, our supportive community encourages extracurricular involvement, leadership development, and a holistic approach to student wellbeing.

At Tamborine Mountain College, there are many pathways to success.

Students may pursue a strong academic focus with the goal being entrance into university study, or a school-based traineeship with the goal being a QCE and an apprenticeship or trade, or full-time work post Year 12.

Vocational Education & Training (VET)

The objective of the program is to assist students, whilst at school, to develop skills in a workplace setting, receive nationally accredited training and a qualification that will set them up for job opportunities and a career path after their schooling is complete.

Students are able to achieve a Certificate level in their chosen industry whilst working part time as well as completing their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and working towards a Senior Statement.

School-Based Traineeship/Apprenticeship are suitable for students who do not wish to gain an ATAR or complete tertiary education.

School-Based Traineeship/Apprenticeship and VET courses are not available to international students on a subclass 500 visa or study abroad programs.
