Thank you, Mrs Simmons - Happy retirement!
As Mrs Nadia Simmons finishes her final week at Tamborine Mountain College, our community has taken every opportunity to let her know just how much she means to us.
Throughout the week, students have showered Mrs Simmons with kindness through heartfelt emails, handmade cards, artwork, thoughtful gifts and countless well wishes. These acts of gratitude have reflected the enormous impact she has had on the lives of so many children and families over the past twelve years.
The photo above captures a beautiful full-circle moment, bringing together Mrs Simmons with some of our original 2015 Prep students, now in Year 11. Watching these young people reunite with someone who cared for them at the very beginning of their school journey is a powerful reminder that while children grow up, the impact of a caring adult can last a lifetime.
