Car Park Reminder – No Waiting, Drop and Go!
A friendly reminder to all families about the correct use of our No Waiting – Drop and Go Zone in the College car park.
This area is designed for quick and efficient student drop-offs and pick-ups, helping to keep traffic moving and, most importantly, our students safe.
To ensure the zone works effectively for everyone, please remember:
- No parking or waiting: This is not a parking area. Vehicles should only stop briefly to allow students to enter or exit safely.
- Morning drop-off: Have your child ready to exit the vehicle promptly, with their belongings organised before arriving.
- Afternoon pick-up: Please only enter the zone when your child is already waiting and ready to be collected. If your child is not there, please continue through the car park and return when they are ready.
- Use the passenger side: Wherever possible, students should enter and exit vehicles from the left-hand side, away from moving traffic.
- Need more time? If you need to assist your child, leave your vehicle or wait for them, please use a designated parking space instead.
We understand that afternoons can be busy and that everyone is keen to collect their children and head home. However, vehicles waiting in the Drop and Go Zone quickly cause congestion and delays for other families.
The simple rule is: if your child isn't ready, please don't wait in the Drop and Go Zone.
