Jeans for Genes Day - Thursday 7 August
On Thursday, August 7th, Tamborine Mountain College will be wearing Jeans (for Genes) to support the Children's Medical Research Institute in their research of genetic diseases and birth defects.
So find your best jeans or double denim (Canadian Tuxedo) and bring a gold coin donation to support Jeans for Genes Day 2025!
By participating you can help the Children's Medical Research Institute continue its vital work in finding cures for genetic diseases and improving the lives of children.
Sporting Our KIES Values
At Tamborine Mountain College, sport is a powerful way for students to grow, build confidence, and live out the values that shape their future.
Our TMC KIES values, Kindness, Integrity, Equity, and Success, guide everything we do, and they’re deeply embedded in our Physical Education program across both Primary and Secondary.
Led by our passionate Primary Sports Coordinator, Mr David Evans, each week, students are celebrated at the assemblies, shining a light on the many ways our students contribute and grow through sport.

Amelia is Riding High
Recently, Year 11 student Amelia W has achieved great success within the realm of competitive equine. Competing at the Show Horse Council Queensland Classic in Caboolture Amelia was awarded Reserve Champion in the Open (adult) section and was also awarded Champion in the Junior section. As a result, Amelia and her horse have qualified to compete in next year's Grand National Championships in Sydney. Such a result is testament to the effort and application that Amelia puts into her time in the saddle. Congratulations Amelia. We can't wait to hear of further success in the future.

We have our first weekly skipping challenge, this week Caity from Jump Rope for Heart is challenging you to see how many pretzels you can do in a row.

SRC Ice Cream Fundraiser
We are thrilled to share that the Primary SRC Ice-Cream Day was an absolute sundae sensation! Thanks to our wonderful school community, we raised a delicious $1,191.10 to go towards costumes for the upcoming Primary Musical.
A huge thank you to everyone who scooped, served, donated, and joined the fun. Yes to costumes, community, and the sweetest kind of teamwork at TMC!
