Thanks to our wonderful Tamborine Mountain College Parent & Friends (P&F), our Primary students will have the opportunity to spoil Mum or a special someone this Mother’s Day at our much loved P&F Primary School Mother’s Day Stall 

All gifts are just $10, making it easy for every child to share something thoughtful and meaningful. Please remember to send your child/ren to school with their money on the day of the stall.

If your child will be absent, you’re welcome to send money in to your class teacher, who will happily help select a special gift on their behalf.

There may also be an opportunity to purchase a second gift, so if your child would like to buy more than one, please ensure they bring enough money.

We can’t wait to help our students celebrate their Mum or special person with a gift chosen just for them

Just a small gesture to celebrate the big impact you make every day. 

Our Tamborine Mountain College community came together in a moment of quiet reflection, deep gratitude, and shared respect.

As we gathered for our ANZAC Day Service, we honoured the courage, sacrifice, and spirit of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. Through the stillness, the music, the words, and the presence of our Board Chair, Board Members, Mayor Tom Sharp, Cr Amanda, Tamborine Mountain RSL representatives Elizabeth and Ann, our College Executive Leaders students, P&F President Bodean, staff, families, and honoured guests, we were reminded of the true meaning of this day.

It is in these moments that the values of courage, mateship, and sacrifice are not just spoken, but felt.

To see our students stand with such reverence and understanding gives us great hope. They are the next generation entrusted with carrying forward the legacy of remembrance.

We extend our sincere thanks to all who joined us, and especially to those who have served. Your stories, your service, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Our Market Stall is always a crowd favourite, and we’d love your help to make it even bigger and better this year!

 If you enjoy making, baking, creating or buying.

we’d love contributions such as:

•  Baked goods

•  Plants

Or anything else you’d like to share! Last year we had an incredible range of delicious orange cakes, beautifully decorated biscuits, handmade bracelets, lolly bags Thank You, Mumma Ducks!, gorgeous crochet animals and plants galore.

And if you’re like some of us who don’t bake or create store bought donations are welcome!

Every contribution adds something special and helps make the stall such a success.
All proceeds go directly towards supporting our school community, and it’s always a fun day out for everyone involved!

 It’s a fantastic way to get involved, support our students, and connect with other families in our community.

 Volunteering is more than just helping out. It's a chance to meet other families, make connections, and be part of what makes our school so special.

Our Duty Helper program has kicked off this week, and it has been fantastic to see our Year 6 leaders (assisted by Years 5 and 6 students!) stepping into these roles. This is a great opportunity for them to show real leadership, be of service, and promote kindness and care across our school.

Students will take turns throughout the term supporting others in the playground, helping to solve small issues, giving friendly reminders about wearing uniforms correctly, and even lending a hand with the occasional tricky snack packet!

We are so proud of our upper primary students for the way they are embracing this responsibility.

Year 3 are incredibly excited to take on the important responsibility of raising and lowering the flags each day at school. This special role has already been embraced with great enthusiasm and pride by the students.

We were fortunate to spend a fantastic morning with Mr Stevens, who guided the class through the correct procedures for handling and raising the flags with care and respect. Students also enjoyed learning about the significance and meaning behind each flag, deepening their understanding of this important daily ritual.

It has been wonderful to see the students step up, work together, and show such maturity in taking on this responsibility. We are very proud of the way they are representing Year 3 and contributing positively to our school community.
