Secondary School Teacher – Business and Mathematics

Commencing Term 1, 2026

Tamborine Mountain College (TMC) is an independent, non-denominational school. We are seeking a Secondary teacher with the ability to teach Business and Mathematics to join our team for the start of Term 1, 2026.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys teaching both Business and Mathematics and values strong relationships, high expectations and purposeful learning. This role will suit a teacher who values strong relationships, high expectations and a learning environment where students are known, supported and challenged to grow.

We are looking for a teacher who will:

  • Hold relevant teaching qualifications and current QCT registration
  • Teach Business and Mathematics with confidence, clarity and enthusiasm
  • Create structured, engaging and supportive learning environments where students can succeed
  • Use data, feedback and contemporary teaching strategies to inform practice
  • Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a strong pastoral culture
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues while also demonstrating initiative and independence
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with students, parents and staff
  • Use ICT and digital tools purposefully to enhance teaching and learning
