Heads of School

Mrs. Fiona Stevens (BA, BEd, GradCertEd) joined Tamborine Mountain College in 2002 as the English and History teacher. In 2006, Mrs. Stevens (nee Miller) became Assistant to the Principal. In 2015, she advanced to Head of Secondary School. She studied at both Queensland University of Technology (undergraduate) and Griffith University (postgraduate) and has been a member of the QCAA Modern History Panel. Mrs. Stevens is passionate about literacy and is a book reviewer for the Children's Book Council of Australia. 

Mr. Mark Stevens (BA, GradDipEd) joined Tamborine Mountain College in Term 4 of 2014. As the College's foundation Head of Primary, Mr. Stevens officially opened the Primary campus doors for the first time at the start of 2015. Prior to arriving at Tamborine Mountain College, Mr. Stevens was a teacher for ten years at one of Tamborine Mountain College's affiliate schools. Mr. Stevens has a keen interest in mathematics, science and music, and he is an active member of the Independent Primary School Heads Association (IPSHA).

Mrs. Nicola Ashley (BEd) joined Tamborine Mountain College in 2018 as the Director of the Early Learning Centre. In 2019 Tamborine Mountain College opened the Early Learning Centre which offers pre-Prep education and outside of school hours care. Mrs. Ashley studied at Macquarie University (Sydney) and went on to develop her skill set in Inclusive Education. She believes that the early years are the most crucial part of a child's educational journey. Mrs. Ashley has a passion for providing an inquiry and play-based led program and believes that all children are capable learners.
