| Principal's Welcome |
|
At the College we offer quality, affordable education. We have set standards in areas of behaviour and uniform. Our students are polite, co-operative and respectful. College life provides many opportunities for students in extracurricular activities, including debating, public speaking, titration, competitive sport, school productions, snow trips, overseas trips and equestrian competitions. The College is truly independent with no actual religious affiliation or instruction, however moral and social expectations are reinforced in our school community through our pastoral care. We value close communication with our parents and have a supportive and active Parents & Friends Association. Tamborine Mountain College has a spirit that is strengthened by the school song “Arrows of Tomorrow”, sung proudly every week by the students on Assembly. “Victory & Valour” is the College motto and our two large bronze lions, thus named, stand as sentries at the administration entrance to symbolise these noble pursuits. As Principal of Tamborine Mountain College, I have an open-door policy and encourage students, staff and parents to communicate directly with me. Together we create a positive learning experience. It is our aim that students enjoy education – we believe the key to success is to enjoy what you are learning and to have the confidence to follow your dreams and desires.
