Although we have a serious focus on the academics at Tamborine Mountain College, we never pass up a chance to add fun and colour to the day especially if it is for a good cause. 

On March 15th the Student Representative Council organised a 'World's Greatest Shave' day where participating students gained sponsors to raise money for the Leukemia Foundation.  Students could either shave their head or have their hair died (temporarily) with some outrageous colours. 

Valentines Day

Everyone at TMC is loved!  To prove this each person (including teachers) becomes a secret Valentine. Many students bought roses (on sale by the SRC), others became creative and made their valentine gifts. It is a great day with not a single person left out.

This year students were encouraged to dress in pink or red and although this proved a challenge for some wardrobes, our TMC students put in their best effort to keep the spirit of the day alive.

Year Eight and Mr T. thought it would be a good day to have a special morning tea.  As a form class they enjoyed their own version of a Devonshire tea.

Mr McDermid and Year Nine held a party in their form room with the music provided by a talented student.
