Location
Tamborine Mountain is a volcanic
plateau with a maximum length of 8km and a width of 5km. The
mountain is 560m above sea level, is just 30km inland from Queensland's Gold Coast and just 80Km from
the heart of Brisbane.
We are close enough to
Brisbane and the Gold Coast to be involved with events at either city yet
we are removed enough to enjoy the peace and serenity of the hinterland
environment. Click here for a map. |

Anzac DayAlthough Anzac Day is a public holiday, Tamborine Mountain College students and staff assemble in Main Street, North Tamborine to be a part of the annual Anzac Day parade. This is an important day for the College as it commemorates Australian men and women's involvement in conflicts past and present. Understanding our heritage is very important to the College and students study Australia's past throughout all of Year Ten History.
This year, College Captains, Daniel Pittman and Kirsty McKay led the Anzac Day parade and Daniel gave the Junior address at the ceremony. Year after year, our College students uphold our ongoing tradition of student success with their remarkable dedication to their school and their country. |
